STRANGE PRESIDENTIAL LIMOUSINES - AL CAPONES 1928 CADILLAC SPECIAL ARMORED CAR" - FDR

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt needed an armored car. As none of the presidential limousines were armored, they needed to get creative. Confiscated by the Treasury, this armored 1928 Cadillac previously belonged to Al Capone. This car was used most notably used to transport FDR to Congress to give his famous Pearl Harbor "date that will live in infamy" speech.
