Thief Compliments Victim in Hand-Written Note

Matt Neary of Fargo, North Dakota found that a thief had stolen CDs and his wallet out of his truck — but he did leave a pleasant note complimenting Neary’s taste in music:

"You have amazing taste in music.
Don’t worry about your credit cards and diver’s license — I know I can’t use them…after tonight, at least.

Seriously though
Lock your car in the future."

Couple Make Burglar Clean Their Home

What would you do if you came home to find your house ransacked, and worse, that the burglar was still inside?

A couple from Montgomery, Alabama, did what some people might find unthinkable - they made the burglar clean up the mess he had made at gunpoint while they waited for the police to arrive.

“Tears just rolled down my face as I walked in and saw everything gone and piles of trash all over my home,” Mrs. McKinnon told her local newspaper the Montgomery Advertiser.

When her husband walked into another room to check what was missing he came face to face with the burglar, who was wearing one of Mr. McKinnon’s hats.

“My husband Adrian caught the thief red-handed in our home. And what is even crazier, the man even had my husband’s hat sitting right on his head,” Mrs. McKinnon said.

Mr. McKinnon held suspect Tajuan Bullock at gunpoint and made him sit down until he decided what to do.

“We made this man clean up all the mess he made, piles of stuff, he had thrown out of my drawers and cabinets onto the floor,” Mrs. McKinnon said.

When the police arrived the work-shy burglar had the cheek to complain to them - about having to clean up his mess at gunpoint.

Lost thief holes up in French bank toilet

A would-be thief's plan to drill his way into a bank backfired when he missed the safe and emerged in the toilet.

The hapless thief was promptly arrested when he got through into the lavatory, French newspaper La Provence reported.

The 21-year-old, who was not named, broke into a building adjoining a branch of Banque Populaire in Marseilles in the early hours.
The man, who came from Belgium, planned to drill his way through to a room housing safe deposit boxes.

Alarms were triggered when he broke through the wall and police caught the man when they arrived on the scene.

Thief Steals Camper with Sleeping Owner Inside

A thief made off with a caravan in Skövde in southern Sweden . To his surprise he later found that the caravan's owner was asleep inside at the time.

The hapless thief took his chance to make off with the caravan parked at Billingsluttningen in Skövde by connecting it to the back of his car, according to Sveriges Radio Skaraborg.
But little did he know that he was also taking the caravan's owner along for an impromptu nighttime drive.

The thief discovered his unwelcome booty only after making his getaway, when he pulled over and attempted to force entry into the mobile home.
The caravan's owner, who had been abruptly woken from his slumber when his holiday abode had been fastened to the thief's car, then screamed at the would-be intruder.

The resultant shock was enough to persuade the thief to flee the scene, empty-handed.

Car thief arrested after he locks himself in car

A THIEF has bungled an attempt to break in to a car in Adelaide, locking himself inside the vehicle as police arrived.

A 28-year-old was found hiding in some bushes while a 53-year-old was found hiding in one of the cars.

"The man, while breaking in to the car, had locked himself inside and couldn't get out," a police spokesman said.
