GRUMAN SEAPLANE J2F-6 DUCK

Grumman (Model G-15) J2F-6 Duck, Grumman serial number 36976, registered N1196N by the EAA Aviation Foundation in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA. This aircraft was manufactured in 1944 but is painted in a late 1930s paint scheme as a J2F-6 assigned to the U.S. Navy's Utility Squadron Four (VJ-4) based at Naval Reserve Air Base (NRAB) Squantum, Massachusetts, located about 4.5 miles (7,2 kilometers) south-southeast of Boston.
